Objective
To provide matching fund for R&D projects to develop new or improved products and/or processes and/or technologies.
Maximum funding : RM1.25 million to be disbursed within 4 years

Eligibility criteria
• BioNexus Status companies
• Within Malaysia's Biotechnology Focus Areas
• The applicant must have ownership or intellectual property of the product
• The product has export potential for countries as per their submitted proposal
• The company's products have been internationally benchmarked
• The potential market value/distribution network for the proposed product has been evaluated Purpose of funding
• The funding shall cover expenditure in relation to a particular business development within Malaysia's Biotechnology Focus Areas and has been or will be incurred on :
(i) Country pre-clinical and clinical trial expenditures
(ii) Product registration costs
(iii) IP protection in other jurisdictions
